Murray House

Murray House was named in honour of Dr. William Clarke Murray, Governor of the old York Castle who served the school from 1882-86

Curphey House

Curphey House was named in honour of Dr. the Hon Sir Adlington.G. Curphey, surgeon, Custos of the Parish and an old boy of the first York Castle. Curphey played a pivotal role in mobilizing funds to establish the present York Castle.

Bramwell House

Bramwell House was named in honour Mr. Theophilus. A. Bramwell, the founder and headmaster of the Middlesex High School. This school laid the foundations for co-educational education in Brown’s Town.

Henderson House

Henderson House was named in honour of the Rev. George Henderson, a former pastor of the Brown’s Town Baptist Church who contributed to the development of secondary education in Brown’s Town through his sterling service to the Middlesex High School.
